Finally got some good aerial shots on final into Boeing. The Vashon approach calls for a city flyby, which is fun.

Hmmm... guess who's flying the hoopdie out of here.

This CG plane was parked next to us while we were getting fuel, I thought it was cool. Might be a CRJ, but not sure.

Here's the panel for the 150 we've been flying. Nothing advanced here, old school radials, VORs and radios. Everything straight out of the sixties. Yeah baby.

Here are a couple of interesting planes I saw on the rampt today. I beleive we have a lear up-top and an Albatross down below. I think my lord and savior Jimmy Buffett flies one of those, or at least writes about one in his book.

The green & white 172 is called the "Ghost Ship." It was parked/unused next to our planes for about four years. When our club-owner finally inquired about its status he learned that the owner had bought the plane for his daughter, a young CFI who loved flying out of BFI. Unfortunately the woman died tragically in a plane crash somewhere in Oregon. The Dad evidentally was too sad to deal w/ his daughters plane and continued paying for the parking space. Anyway, our club bought & repaired it. Now it's used for IFR flights.

CFI Al Brashear w/ his C150 tail dragger, he parks it up at Paine, but decided to fly it down for our lesson today.

N3198J. This is the little C150-G we pack into everyday. When the tanks are full we're barely legal in terms of weight. I don't eat breakfast before practice as not to create an unsafe situation.

KBFI NE parking looking south to Rainier. The flight museum is just out of the shot on the right. On the left, there is a helicopter school out of frame, a couple fractional carriers (note the Lear), a ramp for DHL, and a smörgåsbord of other planes stretching all the way down the field. Last week there was a rack of F/A-18s parked behind the yellow DHL 767 on the left. On Friday, one was taxiing out to take off, and missed the A-1 taxiway which you can see in the middle of the picture, and he ended up getting stuck in general aviation parking, about where I am standing for this picture. He had a devil of a time turning that ship around, and his thrust blew all of our charts and crap all over the place.
